Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) last night celebrated its third Care with Confidence Awards with six people scooping awards in recognition of their above and beyond contribution to delivering health care services in Telford and Wrekin.
Around 90 people attended the ceremony which followed on from the CCGs Annual General Meeting held at the Holiday Inn in Telford.
Dr Jo Leahy, Chair of Telford and Wrekin CCG, said: “We had some fantastic nominations and it was a real privilege to be part of the judging process and hear such inspirational stories of care, compassion and dedication to helping those who need it in our community. As always choosing our winners was a difficult task but I think everyone who came along last night will agree the final six were highly deserving of their awards. It was lovely to see so many people come along to celebrate not only the winners but everyone who was nominated. I want to thank all those people who took the time to nominate – without them we wouldn’t get to hear such wonderful stories of care. “
