Folder CCG Governance Board
The CCG Governance Board has responsibility for ensuring that the Clinical Commissioning Group has appropriate arrangements in place to exercise its functions effectively, efficiently and economically and in accordance with the principles of good governance.
The CCG Governance Board is clinically led by an elected GP taking the role of the CCG Clinical Lead and the Chair of the CCG Governance Board. The CCG Governance Board is composed of members from our practices, who have been elected through a formal process. The CCG Governance Board also has Lay Members and independent clinical expertise from a secondary registered nurse and secondary care doctor and the Director for Public Health for Telford and Wrekin.
The Board of Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group meets in public every month.
Meeting agendas will appear approximately one week before each meeting.
The meetings will be held in public to enable the public to observe the decision making process. Members of the public will be able to ask questions at the discretion of the Chair.
