TRAQS – Telford Referral and Quality Services

We are currently experiencing problems with calls to the Telford Referral and Quality Service (TRAQS) and the Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) Service.

The problem is being investigated as a priority by our phone provider and work is being carried out to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

TRAQS is a service for patients registered with a Telford & Wrekin Medical Practice. Once your GP has made the decision to refer you for onward treatment, TRAQS & our clinicians will determine the correct service for your needs. This may be:  

  • If advice & guidance, rather than an outpatient appointment would be appropriate to help your GP treat within Primary Care.
  • A community-based service provided by a consultant and their team
  • A hospital-based service provided by a consultant and their team
