The Patient Services Team was invited to go along to the opening of the new Café situated at Strickland House. The Telford After Care Team (TACT) have been working over the past months on turning one of the rooms into a small Café and on the 30th October it was officially opened to the public. The café is run by some of the people who have accessed the services that TACT provides.
TACT was setup to provide its service users with a structured and daily programme of activities and a powerful network of contacts to assist with practical issues such as housing, health needs, benefits and employment opportunities. It provides clear and safe peer-led programmes of recovery for the community. TACT is a community interest company run and managed by people who have been service users.
