Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is encouraging residents to come along to their next Board meeting on Tuesday (11 June), and find out more about their local NHS.
The CCG holds its Board meetings in public every month to ensure that its decisions are transparent and honest.
This month the CCG will be considering the work taking place to support carers, reviewing performance across the health system and discussing partnership working across the local health system to manage demand on services and improve health outcomes for residents.
David Evans, Chief Officer for Telford and Wrekin CCG, said: “We encourage anyone to come along to our Board meetings and find out more about their local health service. At every meeting, there is an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions of the Board.
"As a CCG we are committed to being open and transparent in all our decisions and our Board meetings are one way of keeping people informed. We are committed to ensuring patients and clinicians are involved in our work, to ensure our decisions result in quality, safe and locally driven care for people in Telford and Wrekin."
The Board meeting is on Tuesday 11 June at 1.30pm at Meeting Point House in Telford Town Centre. For more information visit www.telfordccg.nhs.uk
