Residents asked to feedback about local pharmacies

Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are seeking your views about local community pharmacy services and are asking for residents’ feedback, as part of the local pharmacy needs assessment.

By completing the survey, residents will be able to offer their opinions regarding the opening hours and location of local pharmacies. Once completed, the feedback will be collated and used to inform any changes that may need to be made. It’s a quick and simple process, which will only take about 10 minutes of your time.

Pharmacies are often the first point of contact when people are concerned about their health or medication. They provide a service where people can get healthcare help and advice, buy over the counter medicines and collect their prescription medication. By completing the survey, you can express your opinion on what services you would like your pharmacy to provide.

Jacqui Seaton, Head of Medicines Management for Telford and Wrekin CCG encouraged local residents to participate in the survey:

“The survey is a great way for local people to tell us more about their community pharmacy services, how convenient the services are, and if they are available when residents need them. We hope this engagement process will benefit patients and encourage local residents to take advantage of what their pharmacy has to offer.”

Mrs Seaton added, “This is a chance for our service users to give their honest opinion about their local pharmacies and whether any changes are required to support their needs.”
