Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is calling for nominations for its fourth annual Care with Confidence Awards.
The awards, which are held to recognise individuals or teams, employed or voluntary, that go above and beyond their role to deliver health care to patients across Telford and Wrekin, will take place in conjunction with the CCG’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 6pm on Tuesday 11 September at The Holiday Inn in Telford.
Dr Jo Leahy, Chair of the CCG, said: “This will be the fourth year we have held these awards and every year we get more nominations and hear more fantastic stories about the work being done locally to improve healthcare for the people of Telford and their families.
If you know an individual or team, whether they are employed or a volunteer, who has gone the extra mile in delivering health services then we want to hear all about them. “
Dr Leahy added: “The awards are a truly great evening where ae are able to recognise and celebrate those who have made a real difference to healthcare services locally.”
The criteria behind the Care with Confidence awards is driven by the 6Cs of nursing - Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment – plus 12 others the CCG’s patient representatives considered important. Entries will be judged by a panel, based on the evidence provided in the nomination form to reflect one or more of the CCG’s 18Cs. The other 12 are Consideration, Credibility, Culture, Contingency, Commissioning, Confidentiality, Comforting, Common sense, Confidence, Creative, Clarity and Co-ordination.
The deadline for nominations is Friday 6 July 2018.
