Anyone interested in finding out about the highlights for the NHS over the last 12 months, or the challenges and opportunities for the forthcoming year is invited to attend Telford & Wrekin CCG’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Staff Awards.
This year the AGM takes places on Tuesday September 10 at the Holiday Inn, St Quentin Gate, Telford.
Dr Jo Leahy, the CCG’s Chair, said: “As the organisation responsible for commissioning health service for local people it is important to be able to tell them what has been happening and what we are planning for.
“Some things, such as progress with Future Fit, have had a very high profile, while other programmes that have very real importance have flown more under-the-radar.
“The AGM provides an opportunity to get a well-rounded view of how the NHS is performing for local people and there will be a chance to ask questions.
“This year we are incorporating our staff awards, which is an opportunity to celebrate the hard-work and dedication of our NHS workers.”
The event will also feature a market place of health information stands from local providers and the voluntary sector.
The market place will be open from 5pm with the AGM starting at 6pm.
