TRAQS - Patients
TRAQS is a unique service for patients in Telford and Wrekin allowing you to be seen in the right place, first time.
If your GP decides to refer you for a consultation or treatment, TRAQS will contact you and manage the process.
- One central point of contact
- Local knowledge about which services are available
- Information on alternative services available for patients
- More choice for patients
TRAQS will ask you about your preferences - like the best dates
and times for you and how far you are prepared to travel - and
they will try and answer any questions you have and even help to
arrange transport for you.
Your referral will then be sent electronically to the relevant provider.

Chasing my appointment…
If we are unable to offer you an appointment at your chosen provider it may be that we have to send your details across so you are placed on their waiting list.
If you have not heard anything within 6 weeks you can call us for an update, however in some cases we will have to direct you to your chosen provider as we don’t have access to all booking systems at other providers.
What do I do if I want to cancel my appointment?
If you have agreed an appointment date that you need to cancel/rearrange or you have any other queries about your appointment, please ring TRAQS who will be happy to help you. They can be contacted on 01952 580441.
Alternatively you can manage some appointments yourself on the E-Referral Service. This system is the NHS booking system
